Posting and scheduling
Stories with text on the image
Stories go to Instagram and Facebook. Add text on the photo or video, pick position, font and color, and schedule it like a post.
Under New, choose Story. Stories only go to Instagram and Facebook; the other platforms have no story API. So you need at least one of those two connected.
Media and name
A story is media only: a photo (JPG, PNG, WebP) or a video (MP4, MOV, WebM). There is no caption. You do give the story a name; that name only shows in your own planning and is never published.
Adding text
In the media block, open the Add text tab. The story editor shows your image in the real 9:16 frame. There you set:
- The text itself, positioned top, middle or bottom, sized small, normal or large.
- Font, color and opacity.
- Shadow or outline, with blur, distance and width, so the text stays readable on busy images.
- For photos: zoom and reposition inside the frame by dragging the photo.
Click Apply. The text is burned into the image, also for video, and the preview shows exactly what gets published.
Find stories under Posts with the Story type filter. Scheduling and posting now work the same as for a regular post.
