Scheduling your first post

Uploadlane schedules and publishes your videos to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Threads from one composer. Here is how to create your first post.

Step by step

1. Go to Channels and click Connect on a platform. You log in at the platform and allow Uploadlane to post on your behalf.
2. Click New in the top right and choose Reel (video), Post (photo or carousel) or Story.
3. Drag your file into the media block or click to pick one. Videos can be MP4, MOV or WebM; photos JPG, PNG or WebP.
4. Select the accounts the post should go to. Every connected account shows as a chip in the composer.
5. Write your caption and add hashtags. YouTube requires a title; the caption becomes the video description there.
6. Pick a date and time and click Schedule post. Want it online right away? Choose Post now.

What happens next

The post appears under Posts in the Scheduled tab and in the Planner. At the chosen time Uploadlane publishes it for you; nothing needs to stay open. If publishing fails, the post moves to Needs attention and you get a notification.

A scheduled post has to be at least 15 minutes in the future. Need it sooner? Use Post now.
